• Step 1: Preparation: Clean the truck bed or tailgate thoroughly to remove all dust and debris. Tip: Alcohol is recommended to keep the surface dry.
• Step 2: Place the decal: Lay the decal face down on a flat surface and peel off the backing paper.  Watch out to avoid the adhesive side sticking to itself.
• Step 3: Apply the decal: Align the decal with the desired location. Lightly secure the four corners to hold it in place. 
• Step 4: Use a squeegee to firmly press the decal onto the surface, starting from the center and moving outward for a smooth application.
• Step 5: Trim Excess: Use a hobby knife to neatly cut off any excess material along the edges of the tailgate.
